A doula is a spiritual, emotional, and physical support and advocate throughout one's pregnancy and labor. They are trained in physiological childbirth, lactation support, emotional support, and natural pain relief via counter-pressure and massage, etc. Doulas help mamas to progress in labor without the pain of medical intervention. Statistics show that when a doula is present, birth outcomes are better, c-section rates are lower, and mothers are more satisifed. Their biggest goal is to help mamas to have the safe, comfortable, dream birth that they want.

Birth should be totally free of fear. Fear blocks the necessary hormones to start and keep labor going, increases pain sensations, and leads to negative birth experiences. Olivia is passionate about helping mamas regain control when exhaustion and fear rise. Moreover, she believes that women should be able to move freely and birth comfortably in any environment, with or without an epidural. She will stop at nothing to ensure that every woman knows her rights and that the birth-workers do too.

Olivia supports women throughout their pregnancy by educating on physiological birth anatomy, mental preparation, and physical preparation. Olivia focuses on eliminating fear, creating individualized goals, and formulating a plan to best support each mama. She is always available to text or call with questions during pregnancy and after birth as well. She cultivates a birth that is empowered by the Holy Spirit, guided by maternal instincts, and protected by professionals.
